What books do you want to read?
Books without constant cursing. Posts too. I like someone’s post, and subscribe. Then the foul, foul, filth and foul turns my gut. Just can’t deal and got to unsubscribe.
Books in the genres in which I write: poetry, contemporary romance (cozy and suspense), historical romance, short story (cozy and suspense.)
Newest favorite non-fiction author: Iann Schonken!
Reading the Bible through each year.

Consider clicking the button to buy me a cup of coffee. It’s a game changer for me as I write.
Language in books don’t bother me if it fits in with either the character speaking or the overall theme of the book. When words are so dumbed down to fit into a PG rating so not to offend the reader can completely discredit the story line or scene in a book where the PG wording flat out does not fit therefore making it unbelievable. For example, if a gang of drug trafficking thugs are using words like ” darn” or “shoot” well we all know people like that do not talk that way.
As far as what I like to read are mystery/suspense, psychological thrillers, true crime, memoirs. I have slowly warmed up to cozy mystery. If the cozy includes a cat solving the crime than I will read that before reading a cozy with no animals in it.
I crave realistic, authentic and believable story lines unless it is clearly a fantasy/sci-fi type book.

Great list!
I agree about authentic conversation.
But just because ‘I talk like that all the time’ is egregious to my eyes and ears.
Appreciate you!
