I think I can

NaNoWriMo is running at full speed and Casey Jones is chugging up the mountain saying, “I think I can. I think I can. I think I can.”—shoveling as much coal in as he can to make it possible. Yep. You guessed it. I’m Casey, just spelled differently. And well, I’m a girl. 😊

I’m about 5,000 behind in my word count. Really, that’s not too bad since I’ve taken five days off so far and plan on taking off another five. Realistically, I should be able to write 35,000 words by the end of November at this rate. Frankly, I’m good with that.

I’m hoping by the end of November I’ll be saying right along with the other Casey, “I thought I could. I thought I could. I thought I could.” Until then, back to the coal shoveling. LOL

What are you working on today?

  1. Right now I’m working on getting out of bed! 😳 I’m always working on trying to be motivated to tackle my tasks. Some days I succeed, others not so much.

    1. I hear you! I have several tasks on my list this week I haven’t even looked at, but know they’re there.
I woke up all stove up as Kevin’s stepmom used to say. My hips don’t seem to want to cooperate today. But, I’m trying my darndest. Hope you are doing well. Miss ya.
