NaNoWriMo

Today begins National Novel Writing Month or NaNoWriMo. This challenge for 50,000 words in one month towards a novel is a daunting task. Since I prefer to spend time with my hubby on the weekends, our family has four birthdays this month, as well as Thanksgiving thrown in, I have learned that I need a reasonable challenge that reflects this. I always strive for the big number, but give myself some grace in the process. Anyone else participating?
