Three Days a Good Friday Poem

Three Days

The earth shook.
Darkness covered
the land;
its creator dead.
crucified.

The earth mourned.
The tomb covered
the man,
Jesus, Son of God,
ratified.

Hell reveled,
angels hovered
there and
quietly waited,
mystified.

Then dawn bloomed,
and discovered
the plan—
the Savior, Jesus,
glorified.
