What brings a tear of joy to your eye?
Singing the great hymns of the faith. My mom sang alto, my dad sang bass, my brother, tenor.
They have all passed away. Dad and mom passed years ago. Yesterday, August 31, marked one since my brother passed.
I still hear their voices, the harmony we shared.
I know they rejoice in heaven, singing with a mighty throng of angels and saints now. This also gives me tears of joy, knowing I will join them one day, worshiping the God the Father, and His only son, Yeshua (Jesus) the Lamb of God, slain from the foundation of the earth. Together once again, never to part.
What brings tears of joy to my eyes?
Looking at the few pictures I have of my cats that all passed away of old age close to 25 years ago…somewhere that long ago. Watching funny cat videos as it helps fill the void of living where no pets are allowed.

I, too, am moved by old gospel; the music is to me a way to release many emotions. The hymn songbook can keep me singing for hours. Thank you.

Hi Tim, thanks for commenting.
Glad you feel the same way. They are a balm to the soul. I could also sing them for hours. 🙂
