Singing Hymns

For today’s Tanka Tuesday Challenge Willow challenged us to describe a moment of our day, how it makes you feel and how it affects you. This challenge employs writing a Tricube: three stanzas, three lines per stanza, and three syllables per line. Here’s mine.

    1. Thanks, Colleen! I need to read all the other posts. I love doing that! But I have been so swamped as of late. The different online challenges have kept me writing poetry daily, which is a personal goal. And I feel as though I am making new friends, and I adore that!

  1. I sing to myself… the lullablies I made up for my kiddos and grands. And other ditties too. But I don’t have anything recorded.

I did enjoy the singing groups. But when it got to competitive and complex… it was time for me to bow out.

    Enjoy 🎼🎤🎶

    1. I recorded several times with my church and with another Southern California based choir. Then I recorded a Broadway CD with a friend, and one 26 years ago of original Christian songs. All great experiences. Love that you made up and sing the lullabies. ❤️ That’s so sweet.

      1. Once with one of the choirs we got to sing at this fancy flower place that had a huge pipe organ that accompanied us for some program. They hardly play that organ – so that was a treat.

Continued success with all you do 🙂

  2. I belonged to two different singing groups for a total of about 17 years. But I am not a musician nor really musically inclined. I did have fun though. 🙂
