Healing Hope
Hopeful of sweet relief.
Ever longing; a belief
All consuming.
Lingering memories
Inside my extremities
Nightly blooming;
Grievous pain looming.
Health, the journey ahead.
Oh, the painful work I dread.
Pleasures, awaken my soul;
Entice me towards the goal.

An acrostic poem is something I had never heard of. I like it. My brain can wrap around that type. I just might give it a try.
